Our Insurance and Liability team has in-depth knowledge and experience of Insurance Contract Law and different insurance lines, both non-life and life, as well as pension schemes and statutory pension insurance in Finland. We also advise our clients in issues related to the Finnish employers’ liability insurance.

 

All the members of our Insurance and Liability team also have long experience of practical insurance company work which is the basis of our understanding of the insurance industry’s needs. We are proud to be able to rely on our profound competence in non-life insurance, both Property and Liability. In Liability lines, our expertise encompasses both Casualty and Financial as well as the Global Master Programs in the Finnish market.

 

We advise and represent domestic and international Insurers. Both Primary Insurer and Reinsurance Corporations benefit from our expertise and experience.

 

We constantly work with foreign Insurers providing them with our knowledge of the Finnish Insurance Law and local insurance requirements, both statutory and those based on local best practices. We also provide valuable service in acquisitions when insurance due-diligence is needed or a subsidiary needs legal services in order to meet all compulsory insurance requirements or other needs imposed by the Group’s risk management. We also prepare and write Insurance Guidelines and Company Policies in cooperation with Corporations.
